2a. SSL/TLS Encryption

This website uses SSL/TLS encryption for security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as inquiries you send to us as the website operator. You can recognize an encrypted connection by the fact that the address line of the browser changes from "http://" to "https://" and by the lock icon in your browser line. When SSL/TLS encryption is activated, the data you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.

2b. Server Log Files

The hosting provider automatically collects and stores information in server log files that your browser automatically transmits. These include: browser type and version, operating system used, referrer URL, hostname of the accessing computer, time of the server request, and IP address. This data is not merged with other data sources. The collection of this data is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in the secure and efficient provision of this website). 4a. AI Chatbot

This website offers an AI-powered chatbot for customer inquiries. When you use the chatbot, your messages are transmitted to an external AI service provider (Fireworks AI, Inc., USA) for processing and generating responses. The data transmitted includes the text of your messages but no personal identification data beyond what you voluntarily provide in your messages.

The processing is based on Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (your consent by voluntarily using the chatbot) and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (our legitimate interest in efficient customer communication). Data transfer to the USA is covered by standard contractual clauses. Chat messages are not stored permanently and are deleted after the session ends.
